Artist Statment

Dance describes and transforms the human experience. The journey of the art connects one’s self to the community, powerfully expressing the condition of the individual’s heart. Through pursuing excellence for a cause beyond the temporary, I see beauty in the structure of technique. Valuing artistry, I aim to communicate through purposeful emotion, finding joy and peace in movement. Engaging in a cause beyond myself, I find it a privilege to dance, aiming to never take it for granted. Let my art be a point of love, thanksgiving and freedom.
